I do really love to do this

So we have had a few bumps but to make up for it I made 5 new recipes last week.
Homemade Cinnamon rolls...Oh my word I would love to eat them everyday! I do think I'm going to try some new recipes though.
Some good old apples like you get at crackle barrel
           Potato sausage cassarole
A white Italian sauce with sausage and noddles.
           Bowtie Casserole

So now I need to do about two more this week and I'm caught up...then I just need to take pics.

I forgot

Okay so all those that occasionally look at this...I've been awful and I know it. But really how hard is it to make something take a pic and post about it. Not hard. Lets see if I can so better starting in May.  So some of the other things I forgot what a potato casserole.  I love this. And yes hamburgers...I haven't done that before. I am an American.  Then I did the sloppy joe things again but added different ingredients.  I have to make this Easters lunch we'll see what we come up with...then the new challenge a pic for everything!

What is wrong with me...

Okay I can't seem to remember what I made last week. Sad.  However, I know that I made a italian chicken casserole.  It was good but could use some little extras.  Half/Half, Cheese, onions, mushroom, garlic, spices and noodles and there you go dinner!

Snowed in and looking for a good time?

That's right....I'm snowed in and looking for something to do.  So maybe I'll bake or cook something but I was looking online and this is a site I found.  Who doesn't love girl scout cookies??? They give easy ways to imitate them! I'm excited now!

Jan...Four new things???

So my goal is to get at least one new recipe each week and then blog about it.  Well the first month was more difficult to blog then the actual cooking.  If you are reading this...I am writing it Feb 1st. lol

So some of the new things I tried consisted of homemade from scratch brownies...Oh my word so Good.  Then I made two white pastas...One of them was a fettuccine the other was a spicy shrimp pasta.  I made spaghetti squash for the first time which I didn't care for.  I also tried to make my own homemade pizza sauce...it turned out well and was really easy! (this was mostly because I ran out of the stuff from the jar. lol) Last week I made a sloppy Joe and some from scratch potato salad.  Okay I loved this sloppy joe recipe so much and I do have it if anyone wants it.  It is one of Rachael Ray's and it taste more spicy and BBQ like than the "normal" tomato like sloppy joe.  Which I'm also finding there is no "normal" in cooking.  Here is the thing about doing this blog a month late is that it is hard to remember exactly that they tasted like.  So I am doing an injustice to those that might actually take the time to read this.  So from here on out I vow to blog about the recipe and include it from here on out within the next 48hrs of making it! I guess each time we do something we learn what we can do to improve.  We see this in our lives and in our cooking:)
